It just depends. A general rule I use is if you are only doing haircuts all day, I would say have them checked between 3 and 4 months. If you do full service and not as many haircuts, I would say between 4 and 6 months - but no longer than 6 months. Also the quality of the shears and how well you take care of them will determine how long between sharpenings.
We specialize in Hair Cutting Shears. We also have perfected the art of Tweezer Repair and Reshaping. We are exploring Clipper Blade Sharpening as well.
Probably not, when shears bend the hair after sharpening, 99% of the time it is that the tension came loose. Just a simple tension adjustment will do the trick!
You know what I hate the most is when I go on a website and try to find out how much things cost and the prices are never listed. Not happening here! I charge $45 per shear including Thinning & Texturizers. $40 for Dog Groomers, $39 for any Chain Salon Stylist, and $30 for Students Cosmetology/Barber.
I accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and Cash App. If you don't have any of those I take debit and credit cards.
Call Me! Do not use them as you will damage the blades more by cutting with them.
